IDCARE’s National Case Management Centre continues to help people who ended up having their financial account drained and their identity compromised after clicking on a link they thought was from their bank.
It is an ongoing issue and it is one that ABC’s 7.30 Report has covered in detail.
The report also highlights the impact cybercrime is having on the Australian community and interviewed IDCARE’s founder and Managing Director, Dr David Lacey, at our head office on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
“I don’t think there are many crimes that you could say penetrate the family home almost on a daily basis,” Dr Lacey explained
